PURPOSE
Labs are located in area vocational-technical centers, community colleges, adult high schools, high schools,
correctional institutions, Indian reservations, and other learning institutes. The purpose of VPI is to provide
vocational preparatory instruction to students while integrating academics with the student's vocational program
of study. Additionally, SCANS, employability, basic computer literacy, complementary, social and study skills
are part of the VPI program.
