Department of Education to Hold K-12 Conference and Innovation Fair
The Department of Education and the Florida Education Foundation will co-host the 2007 K-12 Conference and Innovation Fair beginning on Tuesday in Orlando. The conference will focus on new approaches to improving student achievement, redesigning teacher compensation, and innovative secondary public school career, collegiate and magnet academies. Of particular interest will be the Innovation Fair on Wednesday, October 3 featuring model programs and academies at 46 schools from 18 districts.
The K-12 Conference and Innovation Fair will be held:
