Wednesday Events — Teacher Appreciation Week

CLEWISTON — On Wednesday, May 9, the Florida Department of Education Office for Math and Science Executive Director Mary Jane Tappen will visit Eastside Elementary School in Clewiston and Just Read, Florida! Executive Director Dr. Evan Lefsky will visit Mt. Dora High School in Mt. Dora in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. This is the third day of a week-long celebration recognizing Florida’s more than 180,000 teachers.

The celebrations will be held:

9:45 a.m.
Eastside Elementary School
201 W Arroyo Avenue
Clewiston

12:30 a.m.
Mt. Dora High School
700 N. Highland Street
Mt. Dora
