Redesigning Instructional Delivery: Co-Teaching as a Strategy for Success

Diversity and high expectations are hallmarks in American classrooms. While highly qualified teachers are essential for ensuring the success of all students, appropriate strategies for using these teachers in the most effective manner to meet student needs makes the difference. This conference will focus on the use of co-teaching as the strategy for delivering instruction and services.

Moving From High School to Post-school Opportunities: Transition Components and Strategies for High School Redesign

With increased accountability under No Child Left Behind for student outcomes based on high standards and demanding content, many educators and parents are asking questions about transition and its place in high school restructuring. The presenters will discuss the importance of a continuing focus on transition, some of the components and strategies necessary for successful programs, the importance of youth/young adult participation in policy and practice, and the resources to support successful implementation.
