Consultative Services

The Office of Equity and Access (OEA) provides a wide range of consultative services to Florida schools, school districts, community colleges, universities, parents, students and community groups on policies, procedures and practices for civil rights compliance and equity in education.

Consultative services range from answering questions on the telephone to developing and delivering a training package to address your specific needs.

Sample topics include:

• Policy and procedures-design and evaluation
• Needs assessment
• Employment and admissions forms-design and evaluation
• Design of computer recordkeeping and analysis of equity data
• Design of data analysis models for monitoring effects of local equity strategies
• Admissions/exit criteria-design and evaluation
• Desegregation assistance
• Research based decision making
