Florida Certification Programs and Career Training

The Florida Adult Education System helps their students build their basic skills from Adult Basic Education (ABE) to Adult Secondary Education (ASE) to English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). It also provides students with an opportunity to expand their knowledge in their chosen career programs.

 

Florida Career Centers offer training in a number of careers that include:

 

  • Agricultural

  •  Natural Resources

  • Architecture

  • Construction

  • The Arts

  • Communications

  • AV Technology

  • Business

  • Management

  • Administration

  • Education

 The state of Florida also provides training and guidance for at least 14 other curricular programs.


 

Industry Certifications Approved by the FLBOE

Industry Certifications are exams or certifications that are given in state or national levels to a designate certain aptitude for various skills within various industries, such as: the medical industry, bookkeeping, Microsoft office, etc.
