Regular Administration Only: Late Registration, Emergency Registration, and Emergency Changes

Late Registration Online

During the late registration period for Regular Test Administrations, go to www.fl.nesinc.com, select “Register Now,” and follow the instructions provided. During the registration process, the list of test sites still accepting examinees will be displayed. Complete registration information is available online. Payment must be made at the time of registration using a credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) or a debit or check card that can be used with the entry of a personal identification number (PIN), and must include the regular registration fee and a $15.00 late charge for each test. You will receive your admission ticket by e-mail.

Late Registration by Mail

For late registration for Regular Test Administrations, a completed and correct application for the FTCE (Form CG-20-04) must be received at the FTCE/FELE Program Office (the address is also provided on the form) at least 30 days preceding the examination date. A completed late examination application must include a personal check, money order, cashier's check, or Mastercard or VISA credit number for the regular registration fee and a $15.00 late charge for each test. Examinees may use a debit or check card that cam be used with the entry of a personal identification number (PIN). Make the check, money order, or cashier's check payable to National Evaluation Systems. Be sure your current address and telephone number appear on your check, money order, or cashier's check. Personal checks are accepted for regular administrations only .

CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Emergency Registration Online

If you miss the on-time registration deadline and the late registration deadline, it may still be possible to take a test on the desired regular administration date if there is space available.

  • The arrangement must be made after the late registration deadline but at least 15 calendar days before the test administration date.
  • During the emergency registration period, go to www.fl.nesinc.com, select “Register Now,” and follow the instructions provided. During the registration process, the list of test sites accepting emergency registrations will be displayed. Complete registration information is available online. Payment must be made at the time of registration using a credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) or a debit or check card that can be used with the entry of a personal identification number (PIN). You will receive your admission ticket by e-mail.

  • Do not use the application in the Bulletin for an emergency registration.


  • There is a charge of $125 for this service, in addition to all other fees and charges, including late charges.



Emergency Changes Online

It also may be possible to change tests or test centers during the emergency registration period.

  • There is a charge of $125 for this service, in addition to all other fees and charges, including late charges.
  • Space is limited during the emergency registration period. Changes will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • To make changes during the emergency registration period, go to www.fl.nesinc.com, select “Confirm or Modify Registration,” and follow the instructions provided. Payment must be made at the time of registration using a credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) or a debit or check card that can be used with the entry of a personal identification number (PIN). You will receive your admission ticket by e-mail.
