Fees and Payment Methods for the FTCE

An application is not considered complete without the appropriate fee. There is a $25.00 fee for each of the tests (General Knowledge, Professional Education, and subject areas). During late registration, there is a $15.00 charge for each test in addition to the regular fee.

Supplemental Administration Fees: An additional charge of $100.00 is added to the required test fees. Refer to the FTCE Registration Bulletin for additional information.

Payment of Fees

Internet Registration
Payment must be made at the time of registration using a credit card (VISA or MasterCard only) or a debit or check card that can be used without the entry of a personal identification number (PIN).
Mail Registration
Complete the fee information by filling the oval that corresponds with the appropriate test(s) and test conditions (regular, late, or supplemental) for which you are registering. Refer to the fee chart, which is located at the FTCE/FELE Program Web site and inside the FTCE Registration Bulletin, for a list of tests, deadlines, and corresponding fees.
  • Indicate whether you are paying by personal check, cashier's check, money order, or a Visa or MasterCard credit card. You may use a check card bearing the Visa or Mastercard logo.
  • Checks and money orders must be made out to National Evaluation Systems. Be sure your current address and telephone number appear on your check, money order, or cashier's check. Personal checks are accepted for regular administrations only.
  • For a supplemental administration, only a cashier's check, money order, Visa or MasterCard credit card, or a check card bearing a Visa or MasterCard logo is acceptable payment (no personal checks).
