Complete all appropriate sections of the application. Make certain that you indicate your first and second choices for test sites. Mail the application, or submit an online application, and the required fee to the FTCE/FELE Program office at the address indicated on the application. Materials will be returned to applicants who submit late or incomplete applications or insufficient fees.

Registration dates are listed below. Applicants who meet the regular registration deadline must submit a $50 fee; applicants who meet the late registration deadline must submit an additional $30 late charge. Fees are the same whether you are applying to take the examination for the first time or are applying to retake one or more subtests. All deadlines are based on receipt of materials, not on postmarks. The fee should be paid by personal check, money order, cashier's check, or a check card with a Mastercard or VISA logo. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

You must use application form CG-20-04. All other forms will be returned.

FELE Regular Administrations

Emergency registration for the FELE is available between the 29th day prior to the testing date and the 15th day prior to the testing date. For questions or information about emergency registration, examinees should call (413)256-2893 and select option 9 to speak to a customer service representative.

FELE Supplemental Administrations

The Department offers four additional testing dates per year and require an additional charge of $100.00. Applications for supplemental test dates must be received no later than 15 days prior to the test date.
