HIV/STD Prevention, Pregnancy Prevention, and Human Sexuality Education Trainings.

The HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program, University of South Florida Healthy Schools Project, is offering an online teacher training course entitled Implementing Effective Human Sexuality Education to Reduce Teen Pregnancy and STDs/HIV. The course is offered free of charge through the Panhandle Area Education Consortium’s Florida Learns Academy. You may begin the course (available now) at your convenience, but course work must be submitted by February 28, 2008. Implementing Effective Human Sexuality Education to Reduce Teen Pregnancy and STDs/HIV can provide you with 20 hours of continuing education credit. A limited number of students will be accepted in this course. Physical Education Teachers will have the first opportunity to register. Registration information will be provided to other educators by November 14, 2008.
